Gutter Cleaning FAQs

Most homes in the Milwaukee area benefit from gutter cleaning twice a year — once in late spring after maple seeds fall and once in late fall after leaves drop. Homes with heavy tree coverage (especially oak and pine) may need cleaning 3–4 times per year. We'll note the condition during service and recommend the right schedule for your home.
Our standard gutter cleaning includes complete debris removal from all gutters (by hand or vacuum), downspout inspection and flushing, roof debris removal when safely accessible, before and after photos sent to your email, a written condition report noting any damage or issues, and a full property cleanup so we leave no mess behind.
Yes — every service includes before and after photos sent directly to your email the same day. This gives you documentation of the work completed and peace of mind that the job was done right. We also note any damage, rust, leaks, or improper slope we observe during cleaning.
Pricing varies based on the size of your home, linear footage of gutters, roof pitch, and level of debris buildup. We offer free, no-obligation quotes — fill out our online form or call (414) 485-4860 and we'll get you a price quickly, often same-day.
Leafblaster Pro is a premium micro-mesh gutter guard made in the USA by Gutterglove. It uses a stainless steel mesh to block leaves, pine needles, shingle grit, and other debris while allowing water to flow freely. We install them with Geocel 2320 professional sealant and they come with a 40-year product warranty — one of the best in the industry. Learn more at leafblasterpro.com.
Raindrop Pro uses vertical slots instead of micro-mesh, which allows a much higher flow rate — making it a great choice for steeper roofs or homes with large drainage areas. The tradeoff is a larger opening: very fine debris like pine needles or shingle grit may slowly accumulate inside over time and eventually require a cleaning. Raindrop Pro comes with a 20-year product warranty. Learn more at raindropgutterguard.com.

In Wisconsin, the best times are late spring (May–June) after maple seeds and pine pollen have fallen, and late fall (November) after all leaves have dropped but before the ground freezes. Fall cleaning is especially important to prevent ice dams from forming in winter, which can cause serious damage to your roof and gutters.
We work as long as temperatures allow — typically until overnight freezing temperatures make cleaning unsafe and ineffective, usually around mid-December. But Wisconsin weather is unpredictable, and some years it happens earlier, some years later. If you get on our list late in the season and it gets too cold before we reach you, we'll complete the job during the next warm spell or first thing in the spring. If your trees drop debris very late in the year, just let us know — we'll make sure you're taken care of.
